5. AI Data Processing

When you use the AI chat feature, your messages are routed through OpenRouter and sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These providers include but are not limited to: Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenAI (GPT), xAI (Grok), DeepSeek, StepFun, MiniMax, Moonshot AI (Kimi), and Zhipu AI (GLM). We act as a proxy and do not store conversation content. The list of providers may change as we add or remove models. Please review the privacy policies of the respective providers for how they handle data.

6. Machine Fingerprinting

To enforce single-machine licensing, we generate a hardware-based fingerprint (SHA256 hash of CPU ID and disk serial number). This hash cannot be reverse-engineered to identify your hardware. It is stored on our server and locally in an encrypted cache file.

We share data with the following third-party processors, each operating under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements:

The list of AI providers may change as we add or remove models. Your prompts and conversation data are transmitted to these providers for processing but are not stored by us.

9. International Data Transfers & AI Provider Practices

When you use the AI chat feature, your prompts are transmitted to third-party AI providers, some of which are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States and other jurisdictions. Once your prompt reaches a provider, that provider’s own privacy policy and data-handling practices apply.

AI training disclaimer: We do not train models on your data and do not store your conversation content. However, third-party AI providers may use submitted content to operate, log, monitor, or improve their models, depending on their own policies. We have no control over how providers retain or use prompts after they leave our infrastructure. Do not submit personal data, confidential information, trade secrets, regulated data, or anything you do not have the legal right to disclose to a third party. Review each provider’s privacy policy if this matters to you, or use the Private (BYOK) plan to route prompts through your own provider account under your own contract.

10. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers and D1 database) with encryption at rest. Local license cache is AES-encrypted on your machine. All communications are encrypted via HTTPS.

In the event of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) without undue delay, and where feasible within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with Article 33 GDPR. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify you directly without undue delay, in accordance with Article 34 GDPR, including a description of the breach, its likely consequences, and the measures we have taken or propose to take.
